This course is an initial standardization course for prospective airworthiness designees, including DMIRs, DAR-Ts, and DAR-Fs, to become familiar with the FAA's philosophy, policies, and procedures for designees who perform functions on behalf of the FAA Administrator. For many, this course will be followed by a face-to-face course, which will give them hands-on practice performing designee functions.
